My pregnant daughter called me while in this shop and was being charged $210 for a battery for a small car. Nothing fancy. She was in tears with the price and her car was dead. Mat was very rude to her and would not explain the cost, other than to keep the lights on. He did finally adjust the price down to $140. Still highway robbery. Took 5 minutes to install. What a complete rip off and she felt extremely cheated.
The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at a tire shop. I received a flat tire and went there to get a patch. They could not patch the tire because the screw was on the side wall (understandable). I asked them to just put the spare tire on so that I can at least get home and figure out if I was buying for new tires for what my plan was. They could not lower the spare tire, they wanted to charge me $150 to cut the cable to get the spare tire off then $30 to put the spare tire on and then it would cost me another 200 to 300 to install a new cabling system to hold my spare tire underneath the vehicle. I left there in absolute anger! I called my buddy who worked at discount tire and he had me drive over. They were able to easily remove my spare tire and put it on. I will never give this place business and I will suggest all of my family, friends and followers to not give this place business.
Took my car in on Thursday. Spoke with with mat a few times they were behind on other cars (things happen folks) I didn't end up picking the car up till Saturday morning. Mat made it right. I'll definitely be going back. I use to be a mechanic, people need to realize things go wrong all the time. Keep up the good work Matt!
The work they do is great. However, sometimes some of their mechanics do not seem very happy to engage with customers. Or maybe I just catch them on bad days. But for their work easy 5 stars. They are way better than using Jiffy lube.
This review is for the car wash next door which is owned by the same family as The Car Doctors. A simple public records search shows this. Absolutely fraudulent operation. Damaged my car and wouldn't take responsibility even after acknowledging the damage and admitting to faulty equipment. You can see by all of the other negative reviews for The Car Doctors, exactly how this family does business. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!
